Overnight Accommodations

Overnight Accommodations

There are two housing options available for alumni who wish to stay overnight in the Â鶹´«Ã½ area on Reunion Weekend: on-campus residences or nearby hotels.

  • On-Campus Housingplus or minus

Staying on campus epitomizes the back-to-school experience, putting you a short distance away from Reunion Weekend events and old haunts. Alumni and guests wishing to stay on campus must also register for the Saturday Evening Celebration.

You can register for on-campus accommodations when you register online for other Reunion Weekend events. Housing is available for Friday and Saturday night the cost is TBD per person for both nights. Alumni wishing to stay on campus will register individually and list the family members and friends with whom they would like to be housed.

Please note: Due to the abundance of alumni requesting to stay on-campus space in residence halls is limited. Space will be allocated to parties when all members of the party have completed their registration.

    Residence Halls

Our residence halls provide suite-style accommodations, with two adjoining, double occupancy rooms, one bathroom, and basic linens.

These suites are typically utilized by alumni couples who wish to share a private room and have their own bathroom; and also by individuals who wish to be housed in their own private room and share a bathroom with each other.

    Apartments

Our apartment-style accommodations have bedrooms with one single bed in each room and are located off a common area. These air-conditioned units feature a common kitchen, one or two bathrooms, and basic linens. Apartments are recommended for groups of up to four who wish to be housed in the same apartment.

    Additional Details
Regrettably, the University does not have the resources to provide childcare for families during Reunion Weekend. However, if you are planning to stay on campus and want your children to accompany you, contact the Alumni Office at alumni@scranton.edu to learn more about the Bring Your Own Babysitter program.

  • Area Hotelsplus or minus

If you desire off-campus accommodations the following are some options available in the immediate Â鶹´«Ã½ area. For your convenience, the University has blocked rooms for Reunion Weekend guests. When you call the hotels below, be sure to mention the event codes listed below. Please make your reservations early, as most blocks expire one month prior to Reunion weekend and tend to fill early.
