2023 Frank J. O'Hara Alumni Awards
On June 9, 2023, nine alumni from class years ending in "3" and "8" were honored with the Frank J. O'Hara Distinguished Alumni Award during the Reunion Weekend 2023 celebration. The O’Hara Award is the highest award bestowed jointly by the University and the Alumni Society for outstanding achievement in a particular field or endeavor.

Frank J. O'Hara Distinguished Alumni Award
The Frank J. O'Hara Distinguished Alumni Award is the prestigious annual award presented by the University and its Alumni Society, honoring select alumni who embody Â鶹´«Ã½'s Catholic, Jesuit experience and who have achieved distinction in their professional or personal endeavors. Honorees are selected based on the nominees' commitment to Ignatian values and their pursuit of professional and personal excellence. The award was established in 1981 to honor the memory of Frank J. O'Hara, past administrator, who served The Â鶹´«Ã½ for over 53 years.
Alumni Award for Loyalty and Service
The Alumni Loyalty and Service Award is presented annually to a member of the senior class who has demonstrated meritorious efforts in enhancing club activities, promoting good will on campus, establishing rapport with the community, exhibiting academic excellence and rendering exceptional service to the University. Each Spring, members of the University community (faculty and professional staff) are invited to submit nominations from the College of Arts & Sciences, the Kania School of Management and the Panuska College of Professional Students. reviews the nominations and chooses the recipient. The award is presented at Class Night during Commencement Weekend.
