Domestic Service Trips

The Domestic Outreach (DO) Service trip program provides opportunities to serve marginalized populations across the United States. Rooted in faith and justice, DO fosters individual and group development through retreats and reflection activities throughout the experience. It also provides avenues for faith development and opportunities for students to explore how they can integrate the experience into their everyday lives.

The DO service trip experiences occur during intersession (January) and spring break (March) each year. Students are encouraged to attend an information session in the fall to learn about trip locations, types of service activities, program expectations, costs, fundraising opportunities, and application process.  After attending an info session, interested students need to complete an online application.

Applicants are chosen in the fall semester. For more information on Domestic Service Trips, please contact .  Ttypes of services can include:

  • Serving in soup kitchens & food pantries
  • Disaster relief
  • Tutoring/mentoring children
  • Refugee assistance
  • Working with persons with disabilities and former gang members
